| Team Summaries | Stanwood Notes: This was a barn-burner of a game. Home club Stanwood jumped out to a 4-2 lead in the 1st, and built a 5-2 score early in the 2nd on three of Frank Medlicott's 4 goals. Everett roared back, firing off 4 unanswered goals, including one by Cal Knapp with 9 seconds left in the half to take a 1 goal lead into the break. After the half, the visitors scored another 2 goals, and looked ready to run away with the game 'til Stanwood scored late in the 3rd period to climb back within 2 goals at 8-6. In the final frame, Stanwood fought back further, fighting off a 9th goal from Everett to scratch back to within 2 goals, Everett answered again to extend back to 3, and Stanwood netted a last goal with 1:56 in the game, but Everett played aggressive defense to hold off the Spartans for the victory.
