St. Matthew - Brady Notes:
The St. Matthew Saints got back in the win column against a tenacious Holy Trinity Greek team. The Saints were led in scoring by Christian Chapman who played another great game, scoring 8 points while grabbing 3 rebounds and blocking a number of shots on defense. Scott Tezza contributed 6 points, grabbed one rebound and was a hawk on defense. Conor Brady tied for the team lead in rebounds with 4. Conor is this week's Ice Cream Rebound winner by virtue of his 4 points on offense. Jake Lavender was the co-leader in rebounds with 4. He chipped in 2 points. Drew Tomich grabbed 2 rebounds. Quinn Mulligan scored 2 points and grabbed 1 rebound. Hudson Hooker grabbed 2 rebounds. Joey Linus grabbed 2 rebounds. Matthew Curtin had another well rounded game, playing great defense while grabbing 3 rebounds and scoring 2 points. Drew Markiewicz provided lots of hustle and determination. It was another solid team effort with 9 boys contributing at least one rebound and 6 boys scoring at least one basket. Next up: JCC on the road.
