St. Gabriel - Wood Notes:
A hardfought game that was much closer than the final score indicated. JCC raced out to a double digit lead early only to see St. Gabriel claw back to with 3 late in the 3rd quarter only to see JCC score final 5 points of the quarter to take an 8-point lead going into the final quarter. St. Gabriel closed to within 4 but had already put JCC in the bonus and JCC started hitting their free throws while unlike the previous night, the outside shots were not falling for St. Gabriel and foul trouble on St. Gabriel bigs hurt the inside game on the offensive end but the real killer was turnovers, primarily unforced traveling violations, that limited St. Gabriel's offensive opportunities while the game was still undecided and those things will generally be the difference in a hardfought contest like this. JCC has a very good combination of shooters, ballhandlers, and size and plays good defense,which is why they have been so successful this season. They are clearly the best team we have played this season.
