| Team Summaries | St. Matthew - Iuliano Notes: A good game. Good balanced officiating. St. J. Neumann played well but got down early as some of the initial shots didn't fall. The St. Matthews team executed well, moved the ball around unselfishly. The ref complimented them on a great example of 'team play' at the end of the game, and a Dad from a different team congratulated them on the maturity they showed not 'running up the score'. On a learning/safety note, looking at the tape, #23 St. J.N., on three separate occasions, when beat on a penetration, stuck out his right leg/knee into the passing player, twice tripping and taking a player down. I'm sure its nonintentional, but it cant happen, someone will get hurt. St. John Neumann Notes: |
