Description
The after-school tennis program is sponsored by the Hillview PTO, and is open to all Hillview students. Less experienced players will get as much practice time as all players, but should not expect as many matches vs other schools. The Hillview PTO hires well qualified coaches to conduct practices and matches. Parent coordinators administer the program and find parent volunteers to help coaches during practice sessions and matches, suggest how parents can arrange carpools and snacks. We will need more parent support. Our returning head coach will be USPTA tennis pro and high school coach Yasuo Fukui yasuofukui@gmail.com. We currently need assistant parent coaches. If any parent is willing to help please let us know (or if you know of anyone). There will be high school tennis player assistant coaches as well as in practice sessions and in some away matches. Our Hillview Athletic Director is Harry Bell, jchbell@sbcglobal.net, 650 483-4049. Please visit our tennis team web page at http://hillview-tennis.com.

Registration period is from January 29 -February 5.

NO REFUNDS AFTER FEBRUARY 5, 2018

Registration will only be allowed online sportability.com/hillview. If you have questions regarding online sign ups please contact Matt Ericksen (hvhelp99@gmail.com). Matt is the Hillview PTO board member including registration. We strongly encourage signups for athletes who want to develop a life-long appreciation of tennis. Due to court limitations, late registrants may be placed on a waiting list. Thanks to efforts of our Head Coach (Yasuo Fukui) and cooperation from the city of Menlo Park we’ve managed to secure more court space this year. We will do our absolute best to accommodate all those who register.
