Description
The Menlo Park Recreation Department offers an excellent after-school volleyball program open to all Hillview students regardless of previous experience. Team practices begin the middle of September and games tentatively begin the week of September 26th and finish near Thanksgiving. Please note any conflicts such as days/times your child/children won’t able to practice on your registration. We will do our best to accommodate requests, but can’t guarantee. Once teams are selected, it is difficult to make changes. Players are expected to attend practices/games regularly. Mandatory Workout For Team Placement * September 12th * Hillview Multi * Time: 6:30 - 7:45pm (if necessary) Practices * Depending on coaches schedule Games * Mondays (Tentative) Game Location * Burgess Gym Tournament Team 7th and 8th grade girls interested in being considered for additional competitive volleyball are invited to tryout for a Tournament Team. There will be additional fees and additional commitments for Tournament Team play. Mandatory tryouts will be Tuesday, Aug 23 immediately after school. There may be call backs the next day or Thursday to determine final team selection. If you are planning on trying out for the tournament team please note it during the registration process. To tryout for the tournament team you must be registered for Burgess League before Tournament Team tryouts begin. Tournament Team will be scheduled to play in tournaments/exhibition matches. Tournament Team players are mandated to play on Burgess Teams. Online Registration must be completed before attending Tournament Team tryouts.
